Judy Ann Ballard, 75, passed away on April 20th, 2024 after a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer. Judy was born to Harold and Marion Radspinner on May 23, 1948 in Milwaukee, Wisc. She is survived by her loving husband Rich, Tara (Darik) Steinbach, Jeff (Kristin) Ballard, grandchildren Bennett, Harrison, and Brooks, and sisters Debbie (Dave) Kowenstrot and Patty (Mike) Lanko.
Judy had a masters in education and taught adaptive physical education in the Rochester Public Schools for 34 years. She was a score keeper for John Marshall boys’ and girls’ basketball games for 30 years, rarely missing a game. Judy also ran the business side of Ballard Swim lessons for 38 years (April 1st of each year reservations would flood in starting at 12:01am!)
Judy loved to travel with Rich and their friends, taking vacations all over the world. One of their favorite trips was the Cook Islands and New Zealand. Her favorite hobby was riding horses. Judy had many horses over the years but her most recent horse Stanley, was her pride and joy. She proudly showed English and Western up until last year. We will never forget her Thanksgiving stuffing and Christmas stollen which will continue to live on through the kids. We love you and will miss you so much.
