MQHA MEMBERS WELCOME AT EAGLES HEALING NEST BBQ

The MQHA foundation board is going out to Eagles Healing Nest in Sauk Centre on Thursday, September 28 at 10 AM. We will be doing a tour of the facility and see the horses that are used in their program. There are approximately 75 live-in residents who live there. All have suffered some type of disability, from missing limbs to PTSD. The online auction we had is going to fund feed for one of the horses used in program. The residents are very excited for an organization such as ours to come visit. The director of the program has said the residents want to prepare a BBQ for us. While the foundation board has been the ones interacting with “The Nest,” Melanie, the director, has stressed to me that they would welcome any and all MQHA members or friends & family of members to participate in the tour and interaction with residents.
